Submitted by Bonnie Peters- information obtained from Columbia Library, Marion County, Mississippi, and from a visit to the graveyard. The John Foxworth Cemetery islocated in the Hub Community in Columbia. Take Hwy 13 S. to Old River Rd., go right on Old River Rd.  Keep going until you see an old iron gate on your right.  Drive back there.  Although you will see a sign on the left that says cemetery, keep driving and on the right you will see the actual graves.  Once you get to the graves on the right there are more on the left and if you keep walking back on your left, you will come to the old section of the cemetery.  In front of the old section on the left, there are graves in an area that is grown up.  I am not sure who the graves are, but I am told they are Stephem Foxworth and some members of his family.  This small area is a white section of the cemetery.

Note from Shannon Gorman- The only change I made to this list was to alphabetize it by surname. It does appear this is a predominately Black cemetery based on a spot check using census records to compare names and birth dates. Additonally, it sounds like this is not a complete listing of all the graves because of the condition of the graveyard. I did not add notes or change any content.
